“Remember He who is worthy has qualified you”

Many people today gain University degrees and years of intense training, they spend much time trying to connect with prominent influential people, have letters added to their names such as M.D. and B.A. all to be able to be what they call “qualified”.

Daniel 1:4 young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king's palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians.

In the world the standard to becoming qualified is often based upon being good looking, handsome, being intelligent, having an understanding of the worlds’ ways and being willing to not only be taught the world system, but to excel in it.

Qualified - holding appropriate documentation and officially on record as qualified to perform a specified function or practice a specified skill; having complied with the specific requirements or precedent : to fit by training, skill, or ability for a specific purpose; to acquire legal or competent power or capacity

We need to really understand that in Kingdom living this is not necessarily how one becomes qualified. Though God does say to “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved…” 2 Timothy 2:15. He wants us to understand that He is the only one that qualifies a person.

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

From a biblical perspective to be qualified is when you meet the spiritual requirements and are called for a specific purpose. Jesus has met all of the spiritual qualifications for each of us and allowed us to be worthy of being chosen.

God has designed a specific purpose for every human being. Once you understand that God himself has chosen you, finding your God given purpose will be your most important job here on earth. Once you find your purpose then you must understand that God and God alone has qualified you. You will accomplish your God given purpose not because of your skill or training or experience, but by the power within you that comes from knowing that you are called and chosen and qualified to accomplish your task.

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
