Feast of Joy

Blessings Beloved,
We are going on a Joy Feast for the next 30 days and we want to invite you to please join us.

What is a Joy Feast you ask? Well it is not a fast but the exact opposite- everyday we will feast and be filled with the love, joy and peace of God. We will begin each day with a smile that makes your cheeks hurt, laugh every chance we get even in the face of adversity and circumstances that don't necessarily look good to us. We will find opportunities to make someone else laugh, tell a joke, tickle a friend and just be joyful and full of joy.

We will remember that the “Joy of the Lord” is our strength as we memorize and repeat as often as we can the scriptures on Joy! We will devour one scripture every day. We will repeat these scriptures as often as we can for the day. The great thing about this is that you can't have too much because it is a feast and not a fast.

But the twist is that as we fill ourselves up everyday there will be no room for pity, selfishness, sorrow, depression, over indulgence in worldly things, we will lose the craving for lust and want and greed, we will vomit up every word of gossip and slander. Forgiveness will begin to flow like a fountain until even bitterness will make us sick to your stomach. You must agree though to fast envy, strife, anger, malice, and anything else that steals your peace of mind and heart.
You will so overflow with His joy that it will touch you, your family, your neighbours, church members, co-workers, friends and loved ones. Now don’t even worry if there will be enough provision of His joy because just when you feel like your supply is running low- We will pray with you and send you some more for it is an never ending reservoir that flows deep.
If you have been in a season of grieving, mourning or sorrow, this feast is also for you. It will remove some of the ache you have in the pit of your stomach. Know this that He longs to feed you every nutrient you need so you would not be weak, but full of life and joy.
So if your ready to feast with us for 30 days, then come to the banquet. We are giving you 5 days to prepare yourself take this time to empty your pockets, cupboards, closets and storage units of any stashed away unhealthy substances you have been feeding off of, that you may have hidden away. Clean house and prepare to laugh uncontrollably in the face of the enemy, to enjoy the beautiful life you have been given, to be thankful for your many daily provisions and blessings.

Alright get ready to come to His table, the tablecloth has been laid, your place mat is ready and the menu has been prepared. Get your fork and spoon in hand - come hungry and prepare to Feast on Joy!!  www.thejoyfeast.wordpress.com

Forgiveness and the Lady Bug

A beautiful picture of forgiveness is depicted in the
story of the lady bug

The lady bug starts off with all black just like we are we are when we are born, we are dead in our sins Ephesians 2:1. No matter how hard we try or how good we become we can not change our state.

Then she receives the love of Jesus as a red heart is painted on her back- Forgiveness is the ultimate expression of love as Jesus comes, dies and sheds His blood for our sins so we can receive total forgiveness from our heavenly Father. This is grace as we do not deserve this but He does this for us for without it we can not be forgiven. Col. 1:14

Next we paint two white dots that represent the eyes to see and because we now have received this free gift of love and forgiveness for all of our sins we move from darkness to light and have revelation of what is right from wrong. We now know when we need to ask for forgiveness and when we need to forgive others if they have been wronged or sinned against us. Acts 26:18

Because of this there is now a defining line that we have drawn down the middle that separates her from the evil desires in her heart and in the world. This is the word of God that is shed abroad in our hearts that rightly divides the word of truth. It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of our hearts. We now desire to have a heart like Him and are opposed to anything that is against Him. Hebrews 4:12

The beauty of this exchange is that it was accomplished when we first received the love of God and His act of forgiveness. And we then paint black dots to forever remind us that we will continue to make mistakes, to sin and be sinned against and will need to remember that if we don’t forgive others then we will not be forgiven. Matthew 6:12 and Matthew 18:35

Now that we have been freely forgiven and we want to continue to receive the freedom of daily forgiveness we must daily forgive those that have erred knowingly and unknowingly, wronged, sinned, repeatedly offended, hurt, deeply wounded, stabbed and maybe even have not forgiven us.

How many times you ask ? Matthew 18:21-35

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. 23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses
