God can Fix Us

Yesterday at our fellowship we had a very powerful speaker teach on how we put up walls to protect ourselves and to safeguard our hearts. But in the process of doing this we have taken an attitude of self protection and ultimately have not fully yielded to trusting God in our lives.

She asked us to examine areas in our lives where we need to repent and ask God for forgiveness for not trusting Him and ask Him to break down the walls of separation that were hindering His work in our lives.

 During the ministry time I was ministering to one woman and I heard the Lord say the following;
“ Just as you have jewelry that you deem valuable and even though it is broken, you have not thrown it away, you have stored it and eventually take it to a jeweler, a person who is skilled in fixing and putting together and has a full understanding of how jewelry works. You wouldn't take it to a mechanic, because he is skilled in cars not jewelry, you would take a computer to a computer technician, a TV to a television repair man and lamps to an electrician.  So I am the only one who knows how to fix broken people. My people are not working correctly; they have misused and abused the creation I have designed. They don’t know how to put themselves back together, but I know exactly how each person was designed and when I fix them , they are like brand new. I shine them and clean them and set them in order to work as they were originally created to. I am the one that fixes broken people.”

After saying this aloud to the woman I was ministering to, God by the power of Holy Spirit did what only He could do and He burdened me with an understanding of how much He wants to fix His creation. How He longs to set us on the right course, tune up our hearing, give us new paradigm ways of thinking, realign our thought life, replace the lies with the truth, heal us from the inside out and all we have to do is bring our broken selves to Him and leave it there and let Him do what He does best. Fix His creation.

I wailed loudly as the burden became stronger and as I felt the pain He feels when He sees us trying to fix ourselves or others in our own strength, it is like taking your jewelry which is so valuable to the mechanic and expecting him to know how to fix this delicate, precious, sentimental object and not cause any further damage. People are valuable and of great worth to God and He doesn't throw us away because we are broken. He treasures us enough to deem us worth fixing. He is just waiting for us to come. Free of charge as the price has already been paid.

Some of us have been trained in how to allow inner healing to flow and to give Holy Spirit an opportunity to minister to the inner man, the spirit and to the soul of a person. The time is now to allow what Jesus has done as the Lamb of God to cause the curses and lies of Egypt to Passover Gods chosen people. As we lead each of them out of slavery and bondage and into the freedom of the Promised land.

The Gentle Whisper

She was a woman with a loud voice, created out of the necessity to be heard. She was placed in front of others and had to speak above their murmurs. Her voice was created to carry for long distances and to resound in the atmosphere long after she had finished talking. From the depths of within her was a silent cry that when released did not come out soft and gentle or tender and compassionate. Instead it roared out of her being with intensity and ferocity. Could it be that if she bellowed louder, then somehow they would hear the message clearer? Yet still their vacant blank stares spoke volumes. She was still not being heard.

As she placed her head in her hands and cried aloud she heard a faint Gentle Whisper. “Be still and Know that I am G-d”.

Instinctively her soul whispered back “yes G-d”.

Then unto her came the recollection of her search and how she had looked for The Answer in the fire and in the rain, in the wind, the storm, through the earthquake and in the ocean so deep. But when she had quieted herself to be still enough He came to her in a still small Gentle Whisper.

So now in quiet and solitude she listened to the whispers of His wisdom.

It floated above her and settled within her somehow penetrating her thoughts of judgement and confusion, resting in the bosom of her beating heart, nestled safely in the womb of her soul, allowing her spirit to mould it with truth. Now she could speak. Yet all that she was really ready to do was hear more from Him.

She prayed the cry and it was released as a whisper “how can I tell them?”

“With gentleness and patience, love and grace, with truth and spirit, mercy and forgiveness, all whispered in their ears that hear.”
“For what I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what I whisper in your ear, proclaim from the rooftops” was His reply.

So all of heaven blessed the moment that He commissioned her to speak for Him, to become His mouth piece here on earth.  She would echo His voice and bellow His passion.  Sometimes with intensity and ferocity, but always with Spirit and with Truth as she introduced others to The One she called the “Gentle Whisper”.

Chippy

There once was a clay pot named Theodore Clarence Moulding.

Everyone had nick-named him Chippy for a very good reason.

When he was a wee little pot he used to get bumped and banged, occasionally he was even dropped.

Until one day they noticed that he was chipped and broken and he had a wee little crack in his bottom.

Everyone thought Chippy was useless, everyone that is except the Master.

For some special reason Chippy was the Masters' favourite pot. This fact should have delighted Chippy, but instead it made him depressed and sad.

For every morning the Master would pick up Chippy, dust him off and carry him down to the riverside.

He would make sure to hold Chippy’s cracked bottom and tip him over and fill him up and eventually would head back to the cottage. By the time the Master would have reached the cottage and opened the door, to pour out what He had put in Chippy, there was only a few small drops of water left.

Chippy couldn’t understand it, because of him the Master had to go down to the riverside so many times yet the Master continued to choose him to be filled up and poured out. Chippy was so upset over this that one day he decided to ask the Master why He didn’t just choose one of the bigger and newer pots that could definitely hold more water when He went down to the riverside.

The Master became a bit saddened at Chippy’s request. Yet the Master who was kind and gentle told Chippy that as they walked home that he was to pay extra attention today.

As they took that familiar stroll down the path from the riverside to the cottage Chippy noticed something that he had never seen before.

There along the pathway were the most beautiful, multi -coloured, wild flowers. They were standing bright and tall , Chippy brought this to the attention of the Master and the Master  replied “ This is your handiwork Chippy,  for as you have allowed me to lift you up and tip you over and pour you out and because you were chipped and broken and were unable to hold it all in and while you were letting it all flow out  you were creating this garden of beauty!"

With a look of amazement Chippy looked directly into the Masters eyes, "For though you thought I filled you up to take you back to the cottage to pour you out.  My true intention was always for you to water what was along this pathway, you were never falling short with only a few drops."

Tears of joy poured down Chippys face as the Master held him tightly "You were prosperous in the task intended. Fulfilling your purpose in your Master’s Hands. "

So today if you are feeling a little chipped or broken, banged or bumped or maybe you might even have a little crack in your bottom.

Don’t feel like Chippy, just because you are not being used to carry water back to the cottage. The Master may have designed you with another purpose in mind.  So pay extra attention today and look for all the wild flowers that are along the pathway of your life and remember to be prosperous in the Masters' hand.

Truly Alive

My heart has begun beating wildly and the great anticipation is beginning to overwhelm me. I am moments away from being in Your embrace. I am prepared like Esther to be with You. I have taken the time to focus my attentions on You, on Your desires. My heart is pulsating, pumping life to every area of my body, bringing new life to every cell of my blood, new oxygen, new purpose, fresh energy. Lungs are expanding as I take deeper breathes of air to calm myself from the immense intensity I have begun to experience.

I am purposefully taking captive every thought that enters my mind and bringing all of them back to one thing- You. Your Love is so overwhelming, it envelops me and swirls around me as if to create a tower of safety and security- to hold me there for eternity. I am not a whimsical person. I am not one prone to fleeting desires or self gratifying acts of foolishness, but with You there are no limits, the boundaries are endless. The sky is higher, the oceans deeper, the vastness of the expanse stretches wider because You want to be with me. And I … I want desperately to be with you.

You have shifted Heaven and Earth to unite with me, a mere mortal. I was created for Your pleasure. Yet I have withheld this from You and in doing so I have come against the very reason I was created and plunged myself into living decay. But now I come to the Tree of Life and eat of its fruit and truly begin to Live. Waters of life begin to flow within. A cycle of regeneration now breaks the pattern of death. I am alive. Truly Alive! I was created to Live and bring forth life.

My hands are trembling with the electricity that flows when I align myself with You. You breathe and I inhale Your breath as true light dances around me and I softly float on the clouds of glory that descends. Heavenly visions of past present and future all become one sight to behold. But none has captured my gaze as the sight of You, You are the only sight I long to behold. I am spirit and you are Truth and we are one for this moment.  Deeper feelings has no one known than to know the Love of the Creator for His creation. Every receptacle receiver has heard the message- I love You and You are one with me.

How shall I leave this place and return to the world where the message is a mirror of distorted proportions
?

A twisted twilight zone.

I grasp You tighter and burn the images permanently within me. I command my memory to save every picture of time that has not even passed yet, for we are in a space of Timeless. Where nothing has begun and nothing has ended.
So reluctantly I release and let go of this moment. But never for an instant will I forget. Longing will stay with me as Your voice sweetly continues to call me out of this mere existence of monotony and into the realm of higher purpose. Being one with You

God in A Box?

All mankind has ever sought
Is to find their Creator in a box

Yet when He was born and in a box did lay
Couldn’t except that box as it came another way

Pharisees boxed him telling Him how He could and should behave
They boxed Him in the end on the cross and tombed Him in a grave

Forgetting  He had chosen to box Himself to help them to find
As He desired to dwell amongst them in the midst of mankind

Yet still they created the box and they treasured it well

Not realizing that it was not there He desired to reside
for it was within man that He would choose to dwell
Not in a box, not in a formula, not in a box, not in an idea, not in a box,
not in a theology, not in a box

We can not define Him with our intelligent conversation or lengthy educational talks
No chain can bind Him, restrain or hold Him down for He came to unlock

To loose, release, set free, let fly, let be … me and you
For if He was in a box then they would stay there too

So instead He came in the flesh to show us how to “out of the box” get

But those called to be followers have not caught this simple lesson yet
For we like our creators, our saviours and our helpers in packages so neat and tidy

So we can predict, fortell and understand everything that is hidden or hiding.

Dare that we should trust, believe and obey in what we can not control everyday

To let the Spirit lead and guide and each individual to let Him live inside
For no box can hold Him , contain Him , control Him,

He is all that is and was and ever shall be

God of the universe, living in me
Dare that I should let my simple mind

Create a box so I can keep Him inside

Freedom is what He came to give to me, the Creator of all Destiny
So everyday, everywhere, everyone can use the keys to unlock

For know this one thing…

Our God was never, ever in the box.
